Retreat at Deer Creek State Park

The Guild was privileged to host Elmo Van Slingerland from Gouda in The Netherlands during his four city tour. Columbus was third to host Elmo, following visits to Washington, D.C. & Chicago, and before his last stop in New York City. Two days were spent studying pen drawn Romans and the final two days learning to wield a ruling pen to create letters in Elmo’s “Screams & Whispers” class. We were very blessed to have his instruction in such an inspiring location.
